Parenting Children And Managing A Career: A Tough Task At Hand!

These days, most parents are becoming career oriented individuals. In this hectic life of managing our career aspirations, we tend to lose control over parenting our children in the righteous manner. We require to make sure that our family life remains stable and at the same time we wish to achieve our career aspirations. It leads to a situation where we have no time for our children to feel that we are there for them always. So, how do we manage our relationships with our beloved children while managing our careers?

Tip # 1 – Make a list of daily things that you have to do.

Tip # 2 – Amongst the list, reorganize your daily schedule as per priority.

Tip # 3 – Keep at least 1–2 hours daily in your schedule for your children so that you can talk with them and also relax.

Tip # 4 – Plan your weekends for your kids.

Tip # 5 – Make a list of what your children have to do.

Tip # 6 – If possible, do keep your workplace near your home and keep a watch on your kids as much as possible.

Tip # 7 – Most importantly, give utmost priority to parenting your children with utter care and devotion. Career can be equally important as much as parenting children but if your children are unhappy, will that really make you happy as a parent? Check yourself.

If you are an earning parent and your family is dependent on you is an acceptable situation. However, you must give special time to your children which is of utmost importance.

    Nice article. Those are good tips. Utmost care and devotion are key.

    What you say is true that if your children are unhappy, you will ultimately not be satisfied, no matter how successful you are in your career.

    So I disagree that “Career can be equally important as much as parenting children…”

    @Katy,
    Thanks that you liked the articles…
    I would still say that Career and Family are two different things… Most important is satisfaction… which we keep on looking for..!!
